Elizabeth Exstrom

Based in the Hall County Extension office, I am a Horticulture, Landscape, and Environmental Systems Extension Educator with Nebraska Extension. My work focuses on horticulture programming for youth and adults, serving as the Central Nebraska Master Gardener Coordinator, and responding to horticulture-related client questions.

Professional credentials include Certified Arborist status through both the Nebraska Arborist Association and the International Society of Arboriculture, as well as membership in the Nebraska Nursery and Landscape Association. Many may also recognize me as a regular panelist on Nebraska Educational Media’s Backyard Farmer program.

Educational training includes a bachelor’s degree in horticulture with an emphasis in landscape design and a master’s degree in public horticulture from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
