Extension Specialist
Extension program is based on the development and delivery of statewide and regional educational publications and programs involving diseases of specialty crops. Research program addresses the etiology, spread, and applied management of new and/or important diseases of specialty crops in the Panhandle, with an emphasis on sugar beet root rots, bacterial diseases of dry beans, and sunflower diseases. Disease management includes the integration of predictive, chemical, biological, and cultural techniques.
