Jennifer Hansen serves a 4-H & Youth Development Extension Educator serving Thurston and Burt Counties, she has an office in Pender, NE. She has served as an Extension Educator is September of 2009. Prior to serving as an Extension Educator she served as an Extension Assistant in Cuming County for 4 years. She specializes in the areas of Career & College Readiness, along with Entrepreneurship.
Jennifer was raised on her families diversified agriculture farm near Scribner, NE. She is the oldest of five girls. She received her B.S. Degree from the University of Nebraska –Lincoln with a dual major of Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics. Her M.S. degree is also from UNL in Agricultural Leadership Education & Communications with an emphasis is Teaching and Extension.
Jennifer and her husband live and farm south of Pender with their three children. Jennifer enjoys gardening, cooking, running and reading in her spare time.
