Carrie GottschalkMS, LIMHP, CPC
Carrie has spent nearly 30 years in the fields of education and mental and behavioral health working with children, adolescents and families. Her past professional experiences include Boys Town, Peru State College, CEDARS Youth Services, and private practice. Carrie's clinical specialization is in early childhood mental health, with advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Teacher-Child Interaction Training. She is a certified trauma specialist and compassion fatigue professional, and trained mindfulness meditation teacher. She is also a trainer and consultant in Reflective Practice and Emotional Intelligence.
In her current role as an Engagement Zone Coordinator, Carrie focuses on growing Extension talent through supervision and coaching, and fostering engagement and relationships with clients, stakeholders and University staff and students.
