I work with multiple crops in the Panhandle of Nebraska including sugar beets, corn, garbanzo beans, dry edible peas, alfalfa, winter wheat, sunflowers and millet. I have a special focus on dry edible beans and the trend toward direct harvesting them. I have multiple on farm research projects looking a varieties, population, row spacing and other factors in the dry bean direct harvest farming system.
