Shannon Sand

Shannon Sand is a regional extension educator for the University of Nebraksa-Lincoln. She is located at the West Central Research Extension and Education Center. Shannon specializes in the areas of risk management, strategic planning, business planning, and finance. Shannon has worked in extension in for over a decade. This includes 4 years at the University of Hawaii and a 6 year stint in South Dakota where after weather events Shannon was part of a team that conducted training related to recovery, insurance, finance, and mental health.
