Assistant Professor/Early Childhood Extension Specialist, Department of Child, Youth and Family Studies, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Lincoln, NE. Emphasis in identifying and implementing effective ways of promoting well-being among early childhood educators, families and young children. The key areas of my work focus on: (1) developing the reflective capacities of caregivers to increase their well-being and enhance and improve responsive and sensitive caregiving, (2) promoting well-being of caregivers and children by cultivating mindfulness and compassion, and (3) early childhood education, programs and systems.
